RISING DETROIT RAPPER NASAAN PARTNERS WITH ESPN & THE NBA FOR THE NEW RELEASE OF “GOATED” (FEAT. ROYCE 5’9”)

Detroit’s emerging rap sensation, NASAAN, marks his return with the release of “GOATED” (featuring Royce 5’9″). In an unprecedented move for a developing artist, NASAAN partners with ESPN and The NBA for a four-month licensing deal to use “GOATED” for the playoffs and any NBA property. The song will be available to fans today, April 11th, coinciding with the 18th anniversary of his father Proof’s passing–a revered figure in Detroit’s music scene.  “GOATED” is available via Assemble Sound / Atlantic Records across all DSPs.

The song drops with a remarkably creative music video that NASAAN directed and edited himself. In a nostalgic nod, NASAAN recreates the iconic MTV News freestyle session that immortalized his father and Eminem and garnered over 50 million impressions across various platforms.
