Rajan Sahota Glides Into a New Era With “Just Slide”

After a year-long hiatus, Rajan Sahota is back in his bag with Just Slide,” the lead single from his highly anticipated EP Overdue, arriving this November. The South Sacramento-raised, Punjab-born artist proves that evolution is the real flex, blending West Coast energy with Punjabi soul in a way few artists can.

Just Slide captures everything fans love about Sahota’s sound — melodic confidence, lyrical honesty, and undeniable replay value. It’s the kind of record that feels effortless yet intentional, showcasing the versatility that sets him apart in today’s scene.

Music has been in Rajan’s life since childhood, inspired by watching his father sing and play the harmonium. But the road here wasn’t smooth. After run-ins with the law, heartbreak, and a near-death experience, Sahota turned pain into poetry. “Writing saved me,” he shares. “It taught me self-love and gratitude.”

Now, with his Overdue era in full swing, Rajan is ready to take center stage. With production from Sacramento’s Mister Trackz and collaborations featuring Aaron Le and AR Paisley, the project is shaping up to be one of his most personal yet.

Just Slide is more than a single,  it’s Rajan Sahota’s statement that he’s back, better, and here to stay.
