“Raising Kanan” Season 5 Trailer Teases All-Out War in Final Chapter

The final chapter of Power Book III: Raising Kanan is officially on the way, and the new trailer makes it clear nobody is safe.

STARZ released the first full trailer for the fifth and final season this week, giving fans a deeper look at the growing war between Kanan Stark and his mother Raq following the explosive season four finale.  

The trailer confirms Raq survived the shocking finale cliffhanger, but her relationship with Kanan appears completely destroyed. At one point, Kanan tells her she’s been his enemy “his whole life,” while Raq warns her son he’s never had an enemy like her before.  

Fans are also getting a closer look at Breeze, played by Shameik Moore, a character longtime Power fans have waited years to finally see introduced into the universe. The trailer hints that Breeze and Kanan will now begin building the foundation for the future criminal empire fans already know from the original Power series.  

The final season premieres June 12 on STARZ and will continue setting up the upcoming prequel series Power: Origins, which is already in development.
