Playboi Carti Drops “Backr00ms” Official Video Feat. Travis Scott

Playboi Carti has unveiled a fresh collaboration with Travis Scott in the form of a new song and accompanying music video titled “Backr00ms.” Joining forces with SexIsDeath and Indiana420Bitch, the artists deliver a dynamic performance against the backdrop of a garage, positioned near an SUV. The video intercuts scenes of Carti showering a dancer with money, adding visual flair to the track.

This marks the fourth collaboration between Carti and Scott, following their previous joint efforts on “Fe!n” from Scott’s Utopia, as well as “Love Hurts” in 2018 and “Green & Purple” in 2017. While Carti has kept additional details about “Backr00ms” under wraps, the release suggests an upcoming surge in new music from the artist. Recent previews of tracks like “2024,” “Different Day,” and “H00dByAir” indicate a busy period for Carti, who also featured on the Idol single “Popular” alongside the Weeknd and Madonna earlier in 2023. It’s worth noting that Carti’s last album, Whole Lotta Red, dropped in 2020.

In addition to his solo endeavors, there are speculations that Carti will make an appearance on the upcoming Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign album, Vultures.
