Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux Finally Release Long-Awaited PROLIFIC

Nearly a decade after Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux first created the music together, their long-awaited collaborative project, PROLIFIC, has officially arrived.

The 15-track album brings together two Los Angeles artists whose careers have been deeply connected to the city’s independent music culture. For Nipsey, the project adds another chapter to a catalog that continues to influence hip-hop years after his passing. For Bino, PROLIFIC represents the completion of a body of work he has carried with him for years.

The timing of the release makes the moment even more significant. The album arrived just one day before what would have been Nipsey Hussle’s 41st birthday, giving fans another opportunity to hear music from an era when the two artists were actively building their creative relationship.

PROLIFIC was developed with a trusted group of collaborators, including Mike & Keys, Mixed By Ali, Cyrus Taghipour, Axel Folie, Larrance Dopson, Lamar “Mars” Edwards, and Garnett “G” Flynn. Several of those creatives also played major roles in shaping Nipsey’s Grammy-nominated and double-platinum album Victory Lap.

The project features a number of high-profile collaborations, including “I Just Wanna Know” featuring Cardi B and Ty Dolla $ign, as well as “Reckless” featuring Static Major, “Sacrifices” featuring James Fauntleroy, and “All Summer” featuring BH. “500 Horses” is also among the tracks highlighted on the album.

Rather than presenting PROLIFIC as simply a collection of unreleased recordings, the project feels like a preserved snapshot of a creative partnership between two artists who understood the importance of Los Angeles storytelling, independence, and authenticity.

Bino Rideaux has remained active in carrying that connection forward. The release gives him an opportunity to revisit a period of his career while standing alongside one of the artists who helped shape the city’s modern hip-hop identity.

The album’s arrival has also sparked a major celebration throughout Los Angeles. A sold-out PROLIFIC: THE EXPERIENCE was held at The Novo, giving fans a chance to hear the project from beginning to end before participating in a panel featuring Bino and several of the producers, engineers, and creatives involved in bringing the music together.

Additional events surrounding the release include a Complex pop-up, a Los Angeles album celebration, performances from Bino, and a new public mural inspired by the project.

The Marathon Clothing has also introduced the PROLIFIC Brand, using archival imagery of Nipsey Hussle across a new collection of apparel. The collection represents another extension of his influence beyond music and into fashion, entrepreneurship and culture.

At its core, however, PROLIFIC is about the music and the relationship behind it.

For Bino Rideaux, finally releasing these records means bringing a chapter that lived in his notes for years into the world. For Nipsey Hussle’s fans, it is another opportunity to hear the voice of an artist whose vision continues to resonate across Los Angeles and hip-hop as a whole.

Nearly a decade after the work began, Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux’s PROLIFIC is no longer a piece of unfinished history. It’s now part of the legacy.
