The track arrives as the newest preview of her upcoming tenth studio album Retrospect, slated to drop May 15 through her independent label Planet 9 in partnership with Virgin Music Group.

“Just A Little Bit” taps into a nostalgic yet refreshing sound, blending flirtatious energy with a synth-heavy groove rooted in late-’80s funk. The record showcases Mýa’s signature confidence while Too $hort adds his unmistakable Bay Area flavor, creating a cross-generational collaboration that feels both classic and current.

Retrospect is shaping up to be a defining body of work for Mýa, described by the artist as a bridge between past and future.
