Ryan Oneal Lucas, better known by his stage name Mr. Quak Quak, is making waves in the music industry with his unique sound and undeniable energy. Born on June 1, 1980, in Omaha, Nebraska, he was raised by his mother alongside two younger brothers. His early love for music was shaped by legends like The Gap Band, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, Alexander O’Neal, and Sade. In 1990, his family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he grew into the artist he is today. Now residing in Jonesboro, Georgia (Clayton County), Mr. Quak Quak is fully immersed in the culture and energy of his community, which has inspired his latest musical movement.
With a deep-rooted love for Southern rap, Mr. Quak Quak draws influence from artists like Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Three 6 Mafia, Oomp Camp, Pastor Troy, and Eightball & MJG. Since 2007, he has been grinding in the underground scene, performing at open mics and showcases, and working with top-tier producers like DJ Plugg, KRab, Tankhead Wreckin, and Blac Da Producer of 2Aries. His talent has also led him to share the stage with industry heavyweights, opening for artists such as 2Chainz, Pastor Troy, and Mykko Montana.
