Hip-hop legends came together at Partake NYC on October 10, 2025, to celebrate Mobb Deep and their long-awaited project, Infinite, with a private album listening event hosted by Havoc. The evening honored the enduring legacy of the iconic duo, particularly the late Prodigy, and felt more like a family reunion than a traditional album rollout, bringing together friends, collaborators, and fans of one of hip-hop’s most influential groups.
Guests included heavyweights such as Nas, Raekwon, Busta Rhymes, Angela Yee, Spliffstar, Maino, and Red Cafe, all coming together to honor the legacy of one of hip-hop’s most influential duos. The evening was elevated by guest DJ sets from Kid Capri and The Alchemist, while Crown Royal Whisky flowed throughout the celebration.
Infinite, the ninth studio album from Mobb Deep, marks the first full-length release since Prodigy’s passing in 2017. Havoc, alongside longtime collaborator The Alchemist, carefully oversaw production and worked closely with Prodigy’s estate to ensure the project honored his late partner’s vision. As Havoc explained on The Breakfast Club, creating Infinite required patience, care, and a deep understanding of the bond that defined Mobb Deep.
During the event, Havoc took the stage to perform “Against The World”, a track previously previewed on the Joe & Jada Podcast, giving fans a first taste of the album’s powerful, authentic sound.
Infinite is being released as part of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It series, a slate of heavyweight hip-hop projects expected to make waves throughout 2025. The listening event underscored not only the enduring influence of Mobb Deep but also the strong sense of community and respect that continues to define hip-hop culture.
