Marshawn Lynch Brings “Beast Mode” Back Home With First-Ever BEAST MODE 510 DAY

OAKLAND, CA — Beast Mode is coming home.

Oakland legend and NFL Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch is teaming up with Artists Writers & Artisans (AWA) and Oakland Roots SC to bring his larger-than-life persona to the Oakland Coliseum for the first-ever BEAST MODE 510 DAY on September 26.

The celebration will give fans a chance to experience the world of Lynch’s upcoming graphic novel, BEAST MODE 510, before its October 6 release. More than a promotional event, the day is designed as a love letter to the Oakland community that helped shape Lynch and his unmistakable Beast Mode mentality.

From 5–7 p.m. PT, Oakland Roots SC’s H-Lot tailgate will transform into a full Beast Mode experience featuring local Oakland vendors, pop-ups, oversized BEAST MODE 510 photo opportunities, an interactive Level Up Skills Challenge, and the opportunity for fans to meet Lynch and receive an autographed keepsake.

The celebration continues when the Roots take on Phoenix Rising at 7 p.m. A select group of fans will even have the opportunity to join Lynch on the field during a special halftime activation.

Inspired by the six levels of Beast Mode featured in the graphic novel, the Level Up Skills Challenge will test fans with an arcade-style boxing game. The first 30 participants to reach Level Six will receive a Marshawn Lynch bobblehead, while the first six will earn an opportunity to participate in the halftime experience.

BEAST MODE 510 is a 120-plus-page mature graphic novel set in Oakland and inspired by Lynch’s life, personality, and connection to “Da’ Town.” Written by Sheldon Allen with artwork from Eisner Hall of Fame artist Denys Cowan, the story transforms Beast Mode into a legendary fixer and freelance sleuth caught in a globe-spanning conspiracy threatening his family and community.

For Lynch, Oakland isn’t simply the setting—it’s part of the story.

BEAST MODE 510 arrives October 6 wherever graphic novels are sold, while BEAST MODE 510 DAY gives the city that inspired it an early chance to celebrate the Beast Mode legacy.
