Ludacris is officially back in full Atlanta mode with the release of his new “Pull Over” music video.
Released this Memorial weekend, the visual feels like a direct callback to the high-energy, animated style that helped make Ludacris one of the biggest rap stars of the 2000s. Produced by longtime collaborator DJ Toomp, the record blends booming marching-band drums, aggressive horns, and Luda’s signature punchline-heavy delivery.
The video, directed by Dave Meyers and Cam Erickson, leans heavily into wild Southern energy with car culture, over-the-top visuals, and comedic moments throughout, all trademarks longtime Ludacris fans immediately recognize from classics like “Stand Up,” “Get Back,” and “Move B***h.”
Social media reactions have largely praised the release for feeling authentic instead of overly polished or trend-chasing.
Many fans also pointed out how natural Ludacris still sounds over hard-hitting Southern production, with some calling the record a reminder of the fun, larger-than-life personality that once dominated hip-hop radio.
The release also continues the rollout for Ludacris’ upcoming album, which would mark his first full rap project in more than a decade.
