Loso Tha Artist Talks Growth, Midwest Grit, and ‘Flawless Victory’

Loso Tha Artist has been moving with intention. From consistent releases to expanding his brand beyond music, the Omaha native is focused on growth, ownership, and putting his city on the map. With his latest record “Flawless Victory” and an upcoming collaborative project Before The Shine with Uncle JoNH III, Loso opens up about mindset, Midwest unity, entrepreneurship, and the grind that shaped his journey.

“Flawless Victory” feels like a statement record. What mindset were you in when you made it?

Loso:
“‘Flawless Victory’ came from a place of growth, man. It’s me owning everything I’ve been through — the wins, the losses, the lessons. I’m in a space right now where I’m not scared of anything. I’m not running from my past, and I’m not ducking what’s next. This song was me talking to myself first, like, ‘Bro, you survived all that… walk like it.’ That’s why the record hits the way it does.”

2. You’ve been dropping consistently this year. What’s motivating that level of grind?

Loso:
“Consistency is everything. For real. I feel like the Midwest don’t always get the same spotlight, so I gotta work twice as hard to make sure my name rings out. I’m at a point where I can’t afford to disappear. Too much talent around me, too many people depending on me, too many goals I ain’t hit yet. Every drop is a step forward.”

3. You’ve built strong alliances with Chicago artists and producers. How did that connection form?

Loso:
“Omaha and Chicago got a similar hunger, so the connection was natural. A lot of my homies out there move with the same energy I do — no excuses, no shortcuts. I’m also from there and have family there, + linking with Chicago gave me new inspiration too, different perspectives, different levels of competition. And working with Uncle JoNH III? Man… that’s family now. He challenged me in a good way.”

4. Omaha doesn’t always get credit in the hip-hop conversation. What does representing your city mean to you?

Loso:
“It means everything. I’m proud of where I’m from. Omaha got real voices, real stories, real talent — we just overlooked. So whenever I step out, I’m putting the city on my back. I wanna be one of them ones people look at and say, ‘Yeah, Omaha really producing artists.’ I’m trying to open the door wider for whoever’s coming behind me.”

5. Talk to us about ATO. What does the brand stand for and what’s next for it?

Loso:
“ATO stands for Appearance Too Official, and that’s exactly the mindset. It ain’t just merch — it’s the lifestyle behind the music. It’s about ownership, confidence, and representing where you come from. We’ve been expanding, getting the designs tighter, and locking in on more drops for 2026. I want ATO to become a Midwest staple.”

Loso:
“Man, my cookie brand MR. OFFICIAL started as a fun idea, something different. But once people tasted them and the feedback went crazy, I was like, ‘Hold up… this might be something.’ I’m big on creating multiple lanes, multiple hustles. So the cookie brand is another extension of who I am — creative, entrepreneurial, and always building.”

7. You’ve got a project dropping with Uncle JoNH III called Before The Shine. What can people expect?

Loso:
Before The Shine is personal. It’s hungry. It’s Midwest soul with that raw Chicago seasoning. Me and Uncle JoNH III locked in heavy on this one — storytelling, energy, real-life situations, everything. This project ain’t about the glamour… it’s about the grind that comes before it. It’s the road, the scars, the lessons. I think people are gonna hear a whole different level of me.”
