Kavale Hits the Reset Button with Captivating Melodic Summer Banger ‘Blank Theory’

For Kavale, music has been the center of his creative existence which often drifted despite his rapidly rising success. Taking a break to reinvent and refocus on that love and passion for storytelling lyrically was much needed! The Toronto native is no stranger to being slated alongside Kendrick Lamar, J Cole and Drake. He pops off controversial melodic bars with raw artistic visuals that have fans craving more! ‘Blank Theory’ showcases Kavale’s majestic up-tempo wordplay with all bets off when it’s time to reclaim your spot despite others’ opinions. Produced by Jon.cb, this single is set to regain Kavale’s rookie spot in hip hop! As Kavale also drops the half visual for ‘Blank Theory’ directed by Cordell Jomha, Kavale sets the tone in the opening shot of his video with him reading a burning newspaper that viewers may want to burn after viewing this visual, an open letter to the old him! He remains committed to revealing the artist so many of his fans missed.

Born Oneko McTaggart, Kavale started experimenting and recording at nine; the singer, songwriter, and rapper’s first experiences were split between the church choir and his sister’s piano and voice lessons, where he’d sneak in in order to absorb all she was taught.

“Sometimes I sit and think about where I started and where I am right now, realizing that there’s no blueprint to navigate life. We look at the people that came before us and use that as some sort of guidance but even then, their experience is unique to them. I think I took the next step when I stopped watching and listening to other people, hitting the reset button is what I call a blank theory. My fire has been re-ignited!” ~ Kavale

Blank Theory is the fifth single off Kavale’s upcoming album ‘Aren’t You Lucky?’. The powerful visuals for the first half of ‘Blank Theory’ were directed by Cordell Jomha. Blank Theory follows Kavale’s recent wave of melodic hip hop releases like ‘Eye Language’, ‘Would You Like a Heart’, ‘2 Sides’ and ‘Lucky’.
