Jessie Mazin Delivers Raw Honesty on Debut EP untitled.jpeg

Rising singer-songwriter Jessie Mazin steps into the spotlight with the release of her debut EP, untitled.jpeg—a six-track project rooted in vulnerability, reflection, and unfiltered truth.

Blending introspective folk with alternative pop, the EP captures the emotional weight of coming of age in a world shaped by uncertainty. Produced by Carlos de la Garza and Adam Melchor, the project navigates themes of political unrest, personal heartbreak, and the quiet exhaustion that defines modern adulthood.

At its core, untitled.jpeg feels like a digital-era diary. Having grown up online, Mazin channels that experience into her music, exploring the tension between identity, perception, and reality. The title itself reflects that duality—something both permanent and performative, much like life lived through a screen.

The EP opens with “the man with money in his hands,” a bold and direct critique of systemic greed, immediately setting a fearless tone. From there, tracks like “alive” and “the precipice” explore moments of emotional instability and searching, while “love is a flightless bird” and “throw me in the water” dive into the complexities of connection and loss. Closing track “i cut out my brain” brings the project full circle, capturing a sense of detachment in the face of an overwhelming world.

With untitled.jpeg, Jessie Mazin makes one thing clear—she’s not holding back. The project serves as both a personal statement and a reflection of a generation navigating chaos in real time.

Fresh off the release, Mazin is set to hit the road as a special guest on tour with Indigo Girls, bringing her raw, emotionally driven sound to audiences across the country.
