HARLEM LEGEND MAX B CELEBRATES FREEDOM, FAMILY, AND FRESH BEGINNINGS WITH NEW MUSIC AND NEIGHBORHOOD GIVEBACK

Max B’s Advisory Team, Tyron “Ty Black” Burgess, Karen Civil, and Steven “Steve O” Carless, proudly announce the long-awaited return of Harlem’s own Max Biggaveli. The Wave God is officially home, marking a moment of triumph and the resurgence of a cultural force whose impact on music has never faded. After nearly two decades of incarceration, his voice, style, and influence remain unmatched. His sound shaped a generation and continues to echo through a new wave of artists, proving that true artistry moves past time and circumstance.

In true Biggaveli fashion, he went straight to work with longtime collaborator & producer Dame Grease, to craft the first release from his upcoming album Public Domain 07: The First Purge. The new single “No More Tricks” taps directly into the energy that made Max a movement, bridging the Harlem essence fans know with where he is today.

Just days after dropping new music, Max hit the streets to give back to the neighborhood that raised him. This year’s Wavesgiving brought him back to Abraham Lincoln Houses in Harlem for an afternoon rooted in real community support. He arrived in a custom branded Wavesgiving truck and spent the afternoon personally connecting with residents while distributing Thanksgiving essentials to more than 500 families. Items included turkeys, canned goods, dry goods, pantry staples, and grocery bags designed to support families through the holiday week. All items were delivered directly inside Lincoln Houses, so they reached the residents who needed them most.

Produced in collaboration with The Defiant Foundation, the event underscored a shared mission of respect, economic equity, and direct community uplift. The Defiant Foundation is a non-profit focused on expanding access to education, leadership development, and entrepreneurship programs for underserved communities and young adults navigating the arts, athletics, and creative industries.

Partners and supporters include: The Defiant Foundation and Defiant Records, EMG, Always Civil, Black Lives Matter Foundation, The Cut, Sweet Chick, and 63 Auto.

Wavesgiving symbolizes more than a holiday event, it marks the start of a new chapter for Max B rooted in gratitude, responsibility, and a commitment to the people who stood by him. As his music and movement both rise again, the Wave God proves that the energy of Harlem can’t be contained, it only multiplies.
