Detroit-born singer-songwriter Ebony Riley is bringing a deeply personal chapter of her artistry to the screen with the release of the official music video for “Sick Of Me,” the opening track from her debut album, Beautiful Tragedy.

Directed by Siwoo, the cinematic visual centers on Riley facing different versions of herself through a card game, creating a striking metaphor for self-reflection and the internal struggles that can stand in the way of personal growth. Illuminated by atmospheric lighting, the video moves from rain-soaked streets to a dimly lit table filled with cards, poker chips, and drinks before returning to its starting point, where Riley ultimately finds herself alone.

As the opening statement of Beautiful Tragedy, “Sick Of Me” showcases Riley’s fearless vocals and candid songwriting. The track explores accountability, self-awareness, and the difficult process of recognizing when you may be contributing to your own struggles.

The new visual follows the video release for “Honest,” produced by acclaimed hitmaker Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. Together, the two releases offer a closer look at the emotional honesty that defines Riley’s debut project.

Dedicated to her late mother, Beautiful Tragedy reflects on loss, personal transformation, self-worth, and learning to prioritize herself. Riley channels her life experiences into a 13-track collection shaped by collaborations with some of R&B’s most respected creatives, including executive producer Larrance “Rance” Dopson, Jerkins, James Fauntleroy, Tommy “TBHits” Brown, and Harmony Samuels.

The album also features “Only You,” which reached No. 15 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, alongside “Healing,” “Why Pt. 2,” and closing track “Bloom,” which reinforces the project’s message of renewal after hardship.

With “Sick Of Me,” Ebony Riley continues to establish her voice in contemporary R&B, embracing vulnerability while turning personal pain into music centered on growth, healing, and self-discovery.
