Charlamagne Tha God and Mental Wealth Alliance Bring Mental Health Conversations Into Action at 6th Annual Expo

As conversations around mental health continue to become more open across generations and communities, Charlamagne Tha God and the Mental Wealth Alliance are once again creating a space designed to turn those conversations into action.

On Saturday, October 10, Charlamagne Tha God will partner with mental health advocate Devi Brown and the Mental Wealth Alliance for the 6th Annual Mental Wealth Expo at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark.

Taking place on World Mental Health Day, the free, all-ages event will be held at the Joe and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center and will center this year’s theme: “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.”

The milestone sixth annual Expo is shifting its focus beyond awareness and toward solutions. Attendees will have access to interactive panel discussions, wellness resources, healing spaces, workshops, and practical tools designed to help people better understand mental wellness, regulation, and recovery.

The event will bring together an extensive group of mental health advocates, educators, wellness professionals, creatives, and community voices, including Michelle Williams, Iyanla Vanzant, Marc Brackett, Rheeda Walker, Kier Gaines, Koya Webb, Jay Barnett, Elliott Connie, Paris Alexandra, Jennifer Arnise, Tierra Banks, Judge Dawson, Trent Out Loud, Savanna Stevens, Julius Thomas, and Jovian Zayne.

At its core, the Mental Wealth Expo is designed to create a space where people can discuss mental health openly while connecting those conversations to resources and actionable strategies.

For Charlamagne Tha God and the Mental Wealth Alliance, this year’s gathering represents another step in expanding the mental-health conversation—moving from simply acknowledging the challenges people face to providing tools that can help communities navigate them.

With its free admission and all-ages approach, the Expo continues its mission of making mental wellness resources accessible while creating a community centered on healing, education, and meaningful change.
