BET Media Group is thrilled to announce the return of the fan-favorite BETX Celebrity Basketball Game, presented by Anta and SheaMoisture Deodorant, and the highly anticipated comeback of the iconic 106 & Park as part of its power-packed programming lineup for “BET Experience” 2025, presented by SheaMoisture. Taking place on Saturday, June 7, the BETX Celebrity Basketball Game will bring together an all-star roster of athletes, artists, and entertainers for a high-energy showdown that blends sports and culture. The 106 & Park 25th anniversary celebration continues at BETX Fan Fest, with live activations on the 106 & Park stage at the Los Angeles Convention Center, June 7 and 8, as part of the larger commemoration by BET Media Group.
The BETX Celebrity Basketball Game, hosted by Bow Wow, tips off Saturday, June 7, at the Los Angeles Convention Center and will feature Lola Brooke as audience correspondent and hip-hop icon MC Lyte as celebrity announcer. Providing courtside commentary and game analysis will be sports personalities Omari “Peggy” Collins and Kysre Gondrezick, adding dynamic insight and energy to the broadcast. The star-studded lineup of players includes Anthony Hamilton Jr., BlakeIANA, BossMan Dlow, Carter the Body, Cordae, Darryl Vega, DeVon Franklin, G-Herbo, Hunxho, Jabari Banks, K Camp, Kalan.FrFr, Kemoy Martin, Mario, Pardison Fontaine, Rapsody, Rob49, Rome Flynn, Skilla Baby, Theo Barns, Zoe Spencer, and Zillionaire Doe. This year’s game will be coached by Matt Barnes, Offset, Ty Young, and Flau’jae, bringing their star power and competitive edge to the sidelines. The teams will go head-to-head in a high-energy matchup that blends sports, music, and entertainment, featuring surprise VIP celebrity guests.
Following the on-court action, BETX Fan Fest continues the weekend’s festivities with the reimagining of 106 & Park, fusing its legendary past with the pulse of today’s streaming culture. In celebration of the hit music countdown show’s 25th anniversary, this immersive activation—part of a larger tribute by BET Media Group—invites fans to step onto a recreated 106 & Park set with co-hosted live segments featuring appearances from Benny Boom, Bow Wow, and Cordae. Alumni producer Stephanie Dunivan, who began as a member of the “livest audience” in the show’s debut season and went on to help shape its evolution through every era, returns as Executive Producer of the BET Experience 106 & Park activations. Celebrating the intersection of music, pop culture, and digital innovation, this reimagining pays tribute to the show’s legacy while pushing it into a new era. For fans viewing from afar, a new streaming component will offer exclusive virtual access, giving audiences everywhere a front-row seat to the energy, excitement, and evolution.

- 106 & Party: Rep Ya Flag – A vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture featuring live performances, DJ mashups, carnival-style dance-offs, and a performance by Spice with a guest appearance from DJ Young Chow—creating an unforgettable, island-inspired experience.
- Samples N Friends – An interactive experience designed to cultivate a community of music lovers. With sample trivia and sing-alongs crafted to entertain and inform, this activation offers a musical journey that celebrates the influence and evolution of Black music across genres and generations. Come for the samples, leave with friends.
- 106 & Karaoke – A fun, interactive event where fans and artists team up to hit the stage and perform classic hits that once topped the 106 & Park Top 20.
- Freestyle Saturday @ 106 & Park – Hosted by Bow Wow, with Kash Doll joining as a guest judge and Lola Brooke as the audience correspondent, four MCs will battle head-to-head to be crowned the next King or Queen of Freestyle Saturday.

- 106 & Park Reunion – 106 & Park makes a comeback at BETX, hosted by some of the show’s original hosts who bring a fresh twist to the iconic series. They’ll revisit classic moments, reflect on their journeys, and welcome special guests to share their favorite memories from the show’s influential run.
- Pulse of the Kingdom – A dynamic gospel showcase like no other—featuring Jekalyn Carr, Melvin Crispell, Naomi Raine, and Pastor Mike Jr.
- Benny Boom Music Video – Step onto the legendary 106 & Park set for a one-of-a-kind experience as iconic director Benny Boom takes the helm, directing a music video in real time, starring breakout artist Choszn and produced by his son, MiniBoom, capturing the magic and energy of BET Experience right from the stage.
