BENJI BLUE BILLS RELEASES LATEST PROJECT 500K DEGREES MIXTAPE

Today, DMV native, Benji Blue Bills, releases his first project of the year, 500K Degrees. The 15-track project includes no features, a rare feat for any artist, but allows Benji to shine all on his own as he glides over rage beats. 500K Degrees alsocomes on the heels of Benji’s previous releases “I Told Them,” “3B Psycho Diary,” and “1942,” all featured on the project.

With a sound all his own, Benji doesn’t fit easily into any one genre. On tracks like “I Told Them,” Benji builds on an alternative sound, but also has production that features elements of the late 2000s sound with blaring horns and bass that rattles every vehicle within a two block radius. On “Poppin Out,” a song about going to carry out violent deeds, he channels 50 Cent’s “I’m Supposed to Die Tonight” from 2005’s The Massacre. As you flit through each track, stories of his upbringing and rise to fame make its way to the forefront as you listen to an artist on the verge of changing his life through his art.
