RICH OG’s ‘Home Without A Roof’ Turns Instability Into Art 

There’s a version of the “rags to riches” rap narrative that leans hard into the shine and skips the reckoning. RICH OG isn’t interested in that version. On his new single “Home Without A Roof,” the Memphis artist takes the opposite approach — sitting with where he’s from, Frayser in North Memphis, without dressing it up or flattening it into a redemption arc.
