The lifestyle jewelry brand partnered with X Games New Orleans 2026 to design and produce a one-of-a-kind championship trophy presented to the inaugural X Games League champions, XC New York, following their historic victory this past weekend.
Standing 56 centimeters tall and 40 centimeters wide, the custom-designed trophy blends gold-plated brass with a premium black marble-inspired base and is finished with the iconic X Games logo. Housed inside a custom display case measuring 26 inches long, 15 inches deep, and 18 inches wide, the championship piece weighs an impressive 68 pounds, making it as bold as the accomplishment it represents.
XC New York etched its name into X Games history by becoming the first-ever X Games League champion. The team’s title-clinching performance came courtesy of BMX standout Daniel Sandoval, who battled through multiple injuries before delivering a clutch final run that secured the championship.
The collaboration further highlights GLD’s growing presence across the sports world. Known for crafting premium jewelry and custom pieces for some of the biggest names in music, sports, and entertainment, the brand continues expanding its influence through partnerships that celebrate athletic achievement and cultural moments.
