Lil Baby Continues to Give Back, Hosts Sixth Annual Back to School Fest in Atlanta

As students across Atlanta prepare to head back to the classroom, Lil Baby is once again making sure thousands of local families have the resources they need to start the school year on the right foot.

Over the weekend, the Grammy Award-winning rapper and The Jones Project, his nonprofit organization, hosted the sixth annual Back to School Fest at West End Production Park, welcoming nearly 4,000 students from Atlanta’s West End community for a day centered on education, empowerment, and giving back.

The free community event provided students with school supplies, uniforms, clothing, haircuts, gift cards, food, games, and other essential resources designed to help families ease the financial burden that often comes with the start of a new school year.

Several Atlanta leaders joined the celebration, including Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman, City Council representative Michael Bond, and Judge Penny Brown Reynolds, highlighting the event’s growing impact throughout the city.

For Lil Baby, giving back has become just as important as topping the music charts. Over the years, the Atlanta native has consistently invested in his hometown through initiatives that extend far beyond music. His charitable efforts have included renovating basketball courts, providing new sneakers to students, distributing bicycles and winter coats, establishing a $150,000 scholarship fund at his former high school, and quietly covering college tuition costs for students pursuing higher education.

Giving back to my city is everything. You need the right tools to build your future. We’re keeping the next generation fresh, locked in, and motivated to learn,” Lil Baby shared.

The Back to School Fest follows several other community initiatives led by the rapper this year, including a Mother’s Day event where children created personalized bouquets and cards to honor their mothers.

While continuing to make an impact off the stage, Lil Baby is also enjoying major success in music. His latest single, “Dead Fresh,” has surged to the top of streaming platforms and social media, becoming one of the hottest hip-hop records of the summer. Produced by Pharrell Williams, the song debuted during Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2027 Men’s Show before climbing music charts and generating hundreds of millions of views across TikTok.

As his career continues to reach new heights, Lil Baby is proving that success isn’t measured solely by chart positions or accolades. Through The Jones Project, he’s creating opportunities that will have a lasting impact on Atlanta’s youth—one backpack, one scholarship, and one family at a time.
