Independent filmmaker and storyteller Kiamo is inviting audiences to take a deeper look within themselves through Reflections, a powerful new film presented by Neighborhood Streets Cinema.
Starring Andrea Gomez, Chantal Jimenez, Brenda Jimenez, Jenni & Gio of Capicu, Bars & Bones, Focus Frqncy, and Assata Murray, Reflections explores the emotional highs and lows that define the human experience. The film tackles themes of ego, pride, love, relationships, heartbreak, trauma, abuse, healing, and self-discovery, offering viewers an honest and relatable look at the challenges many face throughout life.
Through compelling performances and thought-provoking storytelling, Reflections encourages audiences to confront the experiences that shape their identities while examining the personal growth that often emerges from life’s most difficult moments.
Written from a place of real-life emotion and lived experiences, the film was shot, directed, and produced by Kiamo for Neighborhood Streets Cinema. The project continues his commitment to creating meaningful content that speaks directly to everyday people and the communities they represent.
But the story doesn’t end with the film.
Following the release of Reflections, Kiamo is set to unveil his highly anticipated storytelling EP, Once Upon A Time Love Existed. Produced and recorded entirely by Kiamo, the project serves as a musical companion to the film and expands on many of the same themes explored on screen.
Blending cinematic storytelling, heartfelt lyricism, and a street-luxury aesthetic, the EP follows the journey of a young boy growing into manhood while navigating love, loss, trauma, and personal growth. Along the way, he encounters the woman of his dreams while learning valuable lessons about life, resilience, and self-worth.
Together, Reflections and Once Upon A Time Love Existed create a unique cinematic and musical experience that explores vulnerability, healing, and the realities of becoming the person you’re destined to be.
With both projects, Kiamo demonstrates his ability to connect film and music in a way that feels authentic, emotional, and deeply personal—offering audiences more than entertainment, but a reflection of life itself.
