Keke Palmer is adding another title to her already impressive résumé: artist-in-residence.
The Emmy-winning actress, singer, producer, and media personality has partnered with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television to launch a five-year Artist-in-Residence collaboration designed to help prepare the next generation of entertainment professionals.
The initiative will give students direct access to Palmer through mentorship opportunities, workshops, masterclasses, and creative programming focused on navigating the realities of today’s entertainment industry. According to UCLA, the partnership aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry experience while providing students with insights from one of Hollywood’s most versatile talents.
For Palmer, the collaboration represents an opportunity to pour knowledge back into aspiring creatives. Having spent more than two decades working across television, film, music, and digital media, she has built a career that many young performers hope to emulate.
The partnership also reflects UCLA’s continued effort to connect students with working professionals who understand the rapidly changing entertainment landscape. Beyond guest appearances and lectures, Palmer is expected to play an active role in shaping conversations around creativity, entrepreneurship, storytelling, and career longevity.
At a time when many artists are expanding their influence beyond the stage and screen, Palmer’s latest venture highlights another side of her career, one focused on mentorship, education, and helping open doors for the next generation of storytellers.
