Monaleo is showing love to Houston royalty in her new “Everything Pinka” music video featuring Teezo Touchdown.

Released this week, the visual immediately caught fans’ attention for its clear inspiration from Beyoncé’s iconic 2005 “Check On It” video. From the pink-drenched sets and coordinated choreography to the fashion choices and visual framing, Monaleo intentionally recreates several memorable elements from the Hype Williams-directed classic while adding her own modern twist.

As a fellow Houston native, Monaleo has openly spoken about Beyoncé’s influence on her career. The connection became even more meaningful recently after Monaleo reunited with Beyoncé at a Cécred event, where she revealed the superstar expressed pride in her growth as an artist over the last several years.
