Ray J Hospitalized After Brutal MMA Knockout in Las Vegas

Ray J is reportedly still hospitalized in Las Vegas following a brutal knockout loss during his celebrity MMA fight against internet personality Supa Hot Fire.

According to TMZ, Ray J checked himself into a hospital roughly two hours after the fight and has remained there for several days while doctors continue running tests. Medical staff are reportedly monitoring possible concussion symptoms as well as concerns surrounding his heart rate slowing down.

Video from the fight quickly went viral after Supa Hot Fire landed a heavy second-round punch that left Ray J visibly disoriented before collapsing near the ropes during the Adin Ross-hosted event at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The hospitalization comes amid Ray J’s already-public health struggles earlier this year.

Back in January, the entertainer revealed that his heart was reportedly functioning at only 25% following a severe battle with pneumonia and ongoing heart complications. He also admitted past substance abuse issues had significantly impacted his health.

Social media reactions have been mixed following the fight, with some fans criticizing celebrity combat events while others simply expressed relief that Ray J sought medical attention immediately after the knockout.
