Saweetie is facing a major lawsuit after a concert promoter accused the rapper of skipping multiple scheduled performances in Japan while allegedly performing for other companies during the same trip.
According to TMZ, production company Moon Dream Production filed suit against Saweetie and her touring company, claiming the rapper agreed to perform four concerts in Japan in July 2025 for a $200,000 fee and received a $100,000 deposit upfront.
But according to the lawsuit, the performances never happened.
The promoter alleges Saweetie and her team still used visa services arranged through the company to enter Japan before allegedly appearing at other venues connected to different vendors during the same dates she was originally contracted for.
The company claims the situation caused major financial losses tied to venue costs, merchandise, promotion, and expected profits from the concerts. Along with repayment demands, the lawsuit is reportedly seeking more than $3 million in punitive damages.
As of now, Saweetie has not publicly responded to the allegations.
The lawsuit adds another legal headline to the rapper’s recent news cycle as fans continue waiting for updates surrounding her long-anticipated debut album rollout.
