Drake Shocks Fans by Dropping THREE Albums at Once

Drake just pulled off one of the biggest surprise releases of his career.

After months of anticipation surrounding Iceman, Drake shocked fans Friday by not only releasing the long-awaited album, but also dropping two additional projects titled Habibti and Maid of Honour at the same exact time. Altogether, the triple release delivers more than 40 new songs.

And naturally, social media exploded almost immediately.

Most fans spent weeks expecting only Iceman following Drake’s heavy rollout campaign involving livestreams, cryptic teasers, and giant ice-themed promo stunts across Toronto. Instead, Drake turned Friday into a full-scale event overnight.

But while the surprise itself generated huge reactions, the response to the music has been much more divided.

Some fans praised Drake for the ambitious rollout and variety across the three projects, with supporters calling the release “another historic Drake moment.” Others, however, criticized the sheer amount of music and quality of his lyrics.

The albums reportedly explore different sounds and themes, with Iceman leaning colder and reflective, Habibti exploring more melodic and international influences, and Maid of Honour taking a more personal direction. Features across the releases include Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, PartyNextDoor, and Central Cee.

Love it or hate it, though, Drake once again managed to completely dominate the conversation overnight. Stream all three projects below.
