Ice Cube and Mike Epps are officially bringing the Friday universe back to life for a one-night-only anniversary event celebrating nearly 30 years of the iconic franchise.
The event, titled Everyday’s Friday: Lyrics, Loungin’ and Laughing, is scheduled for July 17 at the Long Beach Amphitheater and will blend live hip-hop performances with stand-up comedy inspired by the legendary film series.
Along with a live performance from Ice Cube and a headline comedy set from Mike Epps, special guests Warren G and Scarface are also expected to appear during the celebration. Organizers are even encouraging fans to dress as their favorite Friday characters for a chance to win cash prizes.
The announcement is also fueling excitement surrounding the long-discussed final installment of the Friday franchise.
Ice Cube called the event “the beginning of the next chapter,” while Mike Epps reflected on how much the films and characters still mean to fans decades later.
Since debuting in 1995, Friday has remained one of the most quoted and culturally impactful comedy franchises in hip-hop culture, helping launch memorable characters and turning everyday neighborhood storytelling into a generational classic.
Live Nation presales begin Thursday, May 14, while general public tickets become available Friday, May 15, at 10 AM local time.
