Clipse and J.I.D are officially joining forces for what’s already shaping up to be one of the biggest hip-hop concerts of the year.
The artists announced a special co-headlining performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on November 12, with rising artist Samara Cyn also joining the lineup.
This is a show fans definitely don’t want to miss. You’ve got two generations of elite lyricism sharing one of the most iconic stages in live music. Clipse continues its huge comeback run following the success of Let God Sort Em Out, while J.I.D keeps building momentum as one of the sharpest lyricists of his generation after the success of God Does Like Ugly.
The pairing also makes sense creatively.
J.I.D and Clipse already connected musically on J.I.D’s recent album, and both acts have built reputations around technical rap skills, layered storytelling, and high-level performances rather than chasing trends.
The concert will mark the largest Colorado headline performance yet for both artists and continues Red Rocks’ growing reputation as a destination for major hip-hop events.
Tickets officially go on sale Friday, May 15.
