DDG is popping his shit on “Top Of The Hill,” but underneath the flex, there’s still pressure in the music.
The rapper and streamer just dropped the official video for the track, directed by Cam Grey, blending luxury visuals with bars that touch on loss, paranoia, and what it really feels like making it out. One minute he’s talking designer, foreign cars, and women, the next he’s reflecting on losing people back in Pontiac, Michigan and trying to process the weight that comes with success.
That contrast carries the whole record.
“I made it out the city, I’m lucky for real,” DDG repeats throughout the song, and honestly, that line says more than the flexes do.
The visual moves through party scenes, girls twerking, jewelry shining, and nonstop motion, while still keeping a darker energy underneath it all. There are also performance shots showing DDG rocking the stage alongside Sexyy Red and other artists, adding to the victory-lap feel of the video.
Fans also quickly spotted cameos from Blueface and Swae Lee, while a close-up goat scene feels like DDG quietly stamping himself as one of the top names in his lane right now.
Even at the top of the hill, though, the pressure still sounds close.
