Black Effect Podcast Festival Brings Out Culture’s Biggest Voices in Atlanta

Atlanta was the center of the culture as Charlamagne tha God and iHeartMedia hosted the 4th Annual Black Effect Podcast Festival at Pullman Yards, bringing together some of the most influential voices in media, entertainment, and podcasting.

Hosted by Loren LoRosa and DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club, the festival delivered a full day of live podcast tapings, panels, and community-driven experiences that highlighted the evolution of the media space.

Attendees were treated to live recordings from fan-favorite shows including Drink Champs, The Don’t Call Me White Girl Show, Club 520 Podcast, Grits and Eggs Podcast, Reality With The King, and Keep It Positive, Sweetie, hosted by Crystal Renee Hayslett. Each show brought its own energy, giving fans an inside look at the personalities shaping today’s digital conversations.

Beyond the stage, the festival leaned into forward-thinking discussions with panels focused on artificial intelligence, media development, and the future of content creation—offering both insight and inspiration for the next wave of creators.

The star power didn’t stop there. The event pulled out a strong lineup of special guests including CeeLo Green, Sheryl Underwood, Yung Miami, K. Michelle, Tika Sumpter, Claressa Shields, Lil Duval, KevOnStage, and more—adding even more energy to an already packed lineup.

The experience extended beyond content, with the return of the fan-favorite Pitch Your Podcast Booth, giving aspiring creators a chance to showcase their ideas, while the Black Effect Marketplace—powered by Shopify—highlighted Black-owned businesses with curated products and merchandise. Local food trucks and vendors added to the festival vibe, making it a true community experience.

More than just a festival, the Black Effect Podcast Festival continues to establish itself as a major platform for culture, conversation, and connection—bringing together voices that are shaping the future of media in real time.
