Casandra was born in Jamaica but grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Her transition to the states was difficult to say the least. For half of her life she lived in the states undocumented which prevented her from a having a number of opportunities including attending college.
The hardest situation for her to process was believing that her dreams of becoming a lawyer would not come to past because she could not get into college after high school.
Growing up she dealt with being homeless, involved in abusive relationships, and being hurt looking for love in the wrong places. In present day Casandra is a hustler when it comes to having a strong work ethic. Not only is she traveling for hosting gigs and appearances, but she is a mother. Her positive warm energy shines bright in any room that she’s in.
Landing in Florida during her adult years, this hard working entrepreneur managed to make the sour lemons she was handed in life into a lovely pitcher of lemonade. Not only does she have her Masters degree in health science, but she is working on her PhD and has worked in the medical field for 10 years. She is also a flourishing author. She has written both journals and her 1st novel is dropping in the summer titled ‘Big Pimpin.’ The journals she has created are positive tools for the ambitious individual who aim to strive for success.

Today Casandra is more focused then ever. She plans to release new books, and launch her clothing line, ‘Yes’hue’ collection. This soaring Queen also has a flair for fashion. The collection will be a signature couture denim line she created. Although she was not presented with an opportunity to be afforded a college education, mentally she is highly at peace and thriving to with all of her current endeavors. Law school may not have been on the table early on in life, but Casandra is diligently working to accomplish building her brand as a self made entrepreneur.
