Empowering Women in Sports: Hit-Boy and Big Hit Champion the Women Raise the Game Movement During Super Bowl Weekend

The Women Raise the Game (WRTG) movement, presented by Boldyn Networks, is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to empower and recognize the extraordinary women who play pivotal roles behind the scenes in the sports industry. During the Super Bowl weekend, WRTG hosted a memorable honoree experience, celebrating empowerment and recognition. This event was a testament to the growing importance of gender equality and inclusivity in the world of sports. Grammy award winning Producer Hit-boy and his father Big Hit support of the Women Raise the Game movement has brought immense visibility and support to the cause. Hit-boy, known for his chart-topping collaborations with A-list artists, has been a vocal advocate for gender equality in the music industry. His father, Big Hit, a respected musician has been a strong proponent of empowering women in all fields, including sports. Their support and involvement have helped elevate the Women Raise the Game movement, drawing attention from both the sports and music industries. Their influence and reach have enabled the movement to reach a broader audience and make a lasting impact.

Among the remarkable women honored during the Women Raise the Game event were Holly Robinson-Peete, Sammy Schuster, Zaileen Janmohamed, Laura Warner, Taylor Rooks, and Ana Martinez. Each of these women has played a crucial role in shaping the sports industry and breaking barriers. Holly Robinson-Peete, (an accomplished actress and philanthropist, has been a vocal advocate for inclusivity in sports, Philanthropist of the Year). Sammy Schuster, (Mother of NFL Wide Receiver & Super Bowl Champion Juju Smith-Schuster, Visionary of the Year). Zaileen Janmohamed, (President & CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee, Woman of the Year). Laura Warner, (Mother of 49ers Fred Warner & Buccaneers Troy Warner, Cultural Trailblazer of the Year). Taylor Rooks, (an esteemed sports broadcaster, has shattered glass ceilings and inspired countless young women to pursue their dreams in sports media. Journalist of the Year) Ana Martinez, (Mother of LA Chargers Michael Davis, Cultural Impact Honoree). 

The program followed with a message of unity and amplifying women’s voices by Josephine Martinez– Senior director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the NFL, who congratulated WRTG on “such a historic event”. The stunning floral setting and lively atmosphere were enhanced by a special appearance from Grammy Award-winning producer and celebrity DJ, Jermaine Dupri. He set the mood and maintained a high level of energy throughout the gathering. Guests were treated to a memorable evening, exchanging tales of motivation, and honoring the accomplishments and empowerment of these remarkable women who have been the backbone of the organization and players in the NFL.

Women Raise the Game exemplified the spirit of inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment, reflecting the ongoing efforts to create a more equitable and supportive environment for women who play integral roles behind the scenes in sports and beyond.
