Today, emerging Afrobeats star, Fave, released her first single of the year “Belong To You.” The enthralling ballad is accompanied by an official companion visualizer. “Belong To You” is the follow-up to the previously released single and visual for “Pop Sermon” featuring Dope Caesar and Ajebo Hustlers. The single also comes on the heels of Fave’s feature on Afrobeats superstar Davido’s “Kante” single.
Though Fave is in the early days of her career, she’s set the tone already for her future success. Fave was recently recognized as one of the BET x Nissan Afrobeats Up Next stars, Spotify’s Equal Africa Ambassador for March, Apple Music’s ‘One’s To Watch,’ and one of ten ‘African Artists to Watch Out For’ on Audiomack. She was also highlighted 2022 by snagging the coveted ‘Rookie of the Year’ award at the prestigious Headies. Her feature on Davido’s “Kante” single was also a top 10 most streamed song in Nigeria via Spotify in 2023.
