Yung Miami, also known as Caresha Brownlee, is gearing up for her reality show set to air on BET, but it seems Diddy won’t be making any cameo appearances. Reportedly, the music mogul has opted to maintain a low profile and will not be featured in the reality series centered around “shawty wop’s” life.
The revelation came after Yung Miami announced the reality project on the red carpet ahead of the 2023 VMA Awards, sharing her excitement about various upcoming ventures, including the City Girls‘ album release and her own podcast. While the network behind the show wasn’t initially disclosed, recent news broke that BET had secured the rights for the series.
The question on many fans’ minds was whether Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, would be part of the show. Yung Miami, 29, and Diddy, 54, have had an on-again-off-again situationship, adding intrigue to the potential dynamics on the reality series. Unfortunately for those hoping for insights into their interactions, it appears Diddy has been removed from the project.
Sources reveal that Yung Miami is in the process of filming new content to replace scenes that initially featured Diddy. This decision follows the legal troubles that Diddy encountered in November 2023 when he swiftly settled a lawsuit from his former girlfriend and artist, Cassie, who accused him of abusive behavior throughout their decade-long relationship. Subsequently, Diddy faced additional lawsuits from other women alleging sexual assault in the 90s and early 2000s. Despite denying all allegations, including those from Cassie (Casandra Ventura, 37), Diddy has faced consequences, including the loss of business deals and the termination of his partnership with Capital Preparatory Schools.
As Yung Miami’s reality show unfolds, it will now navigate this significant edit, shedding light on her life while leaving out the involvement of the influential music figure.
